The Rio door style from Nobilia is a textured finish door recreating woods such as Virginia Oak,  Nautical Pine (as shown here) and also Oak Provence that combine so as to offer the modern home owner and kitchen designer three different shades and styles of wood effect finishes as an alternative to solid colour finishes which are atypical of most German kitchens.

In this example, the Rio Nautical Pine has been paired with a Sand finish to the undercounter L-shaped run of cabinets to the rear wall with Rio Nautical Pine above the counter, with glass inserts. Nautical Pine has also been used for the end panels and work surfaces to offer a light and textured finish that has been contrasted well with the blue wall coverings.
