It has now been 5 years that The Great British Bake Off has been on our screens and over the years we have watched with excitement as the chosen bakers from all over the UK challenge one another in the bake off tasks with the; Signature Bake, Technical Bake and the Showstopper Bake thanks to the trusted tools and appliances on offer..

Following on from our previous article of the Neff slide and hide oven favoured by Paul, Mary & Co another appliance used on the UK’s favourite Baking competition is the Bosch PIE375C14E Induction hob

This innovative hob from Bosch uses induction technology, meaning that you get pretty much instant heat straight to your ferromagnetic metal pans, so no sitting by idly waiting for your chocolate to melt for your favourite cake. With induction, the hob heats the bottom of the pan only, meaning that no heat is wasted resulting in a very energy efficient choice.

Induction offers you exact to the point control over the amount of heat you want and responds instantly to your choice. There are two dials for controlling the heat level, which some people also find much less fiddly than the usual touch controls.

Bosch’s smart domino designed Induction hob allows anyone the necessary space to roll pastry, knead or prepare food due to its flush surface which also makes life easy when it comes to cleaning as all you need to do is wipe down.
