Arundel Character Oak a is a great example of a Classic English Made Kitchen. Arundel reflects a combination of estate hewn English pippy oak and wild-grained European oak, perfectly balanced with the baronial elegance of the door design.
The door construction is a 90mm Solid European Oak frame with groove on inside, dubbed corners, pegs and lightly distressed, an 8mm flat Character Oak solid centre panel and for the drawers, a solid Character Oak drawer fronts with dubbed corners and lightly distressed.
The English Oak used in the manufacture of the Arundel door range contains many features that give it that unmistakable depth of character and personality including pips, open knots, closed knots, knot clusters and a graining that adds to its uniqueness.
The Arundel is available in Character Oak and Natural Oak, and whilst the difference between the two is very subtle, the Character Oak has a less of a hue and gives off a somewhat washed effect when compared with the Natural Oak door, both of which are available with glass panels (namely 4mm toughened grey antisun glass), and a whole host of drawers, shelving, and decorative features (including the all important wine rack) that complement the Arundel door.
